  1. ** VERSIONS OF SUPERGRAM II **

  3. There are three versions of Supergram II: The Evaluation Version,
  4. the Standard Edition and the Professional Edition.
  5.  
  6. The Evaluation Version is what is what this file comes with. It is
  7. freely distributable, fully functional and is completely FREE. 
  8. The other two editions cost money so why should you bother buying 
  9. one of them?
  10.  
  11. There are lots of reasons:
  12.  
  13. - You receive the absolutely latest published edition of the software
  14. including any new features or bug fixes made since the evaluation
  15. software was written.
  16.  
  17. - As a registered owner of the software you become eligible to
  18. receive updates as new versions are written.
  19.  
  20. - The Standard Edition has a lexicon of 80 000 words. To keep the size of
  21. the Evaluation Version down its lexicon is only 35 000 words: less than
  22. half the size. This means that the commercial editions know about many
  23. more words and are therefore better at finding good anagrams.

  25. - You receive full professionally-printed documentation including an
  26. Owners' Manual and Examples section including many of the most
  27. hilarious anagrams found so far. This section is illustrated with
  28. cartoons and as a registered user you have the right to contribute
  29. to future editions of this publication.

  31. - The other editions comes with a utility !Features that can permanently
  32. remove or restore the Vulgar and/or Satire options making the software
  33. suitable for use by children in an educational context.

  35. - You have the right to unlimited written technical support. No
  36. technical support is available to users of the Evaluation Version.

  38. - The licence for the other editions allow you to use them forever. The
  39. Evaluation Version is for evaluation purposes only and there is a short
  40. time limit after which you are legally obliged to stop using it. The
  41. Standard and Professional Editions have licences similar to normal
  42. commercial software.

  48. *** PROFESSIONAL EDITION ***

  50. The Professional Edition is for people that want the absolute best.
  51.  
  52. It is similar to the Standard Edition except that it comes with a massive
  53. 130 000 word lexicon! This compares with the 80 000 words in the Standard
  54. Edition and the 35 000 words in the Evaluation Version. This huge lexicon
  55. means that you need a machine with at least 2Mb of RAM to comfortably run
  56. the software.
